Summertime is for carnivals! This carnival appropriate outfit consist of a simple white ribbed knit tank top and a pair of red shorts. The shorts are very lightweight and flowy, perfect for a hot day! I’m also wearing a straw hat that I purchased for only $5! I love the blue and red colors that make it a great hat for 4th of July festivities. And I have to mention this adorable strawberry necklace I purchased this weekend. Again, it’s a steal for under $4 and I already have received so many compliments wearing it today. It’s a must buy accessory piece for summer!

It’s that time of the year when everyone starts buying summer everything- dresses, hats, straw bags and more. I’ve already done some summer shopping too. The two dresses I purchased are the beautiful embroidered Short Sleeve Eyelet Shift Dress which is more on the dressy side, and the very casual, beach-ready Striped Off-the-Shoulder Dress. This one will go nice with brown sandals and a straw bag. Speaking of straw, I got myself yet another Straw Hat as well this amazing Tassel Detail Straw Crossbody Bag, which I’m very excited about. It’s actually still on the way and I can’t wait to get it. Seriously girls, it’s only $10 and you have to have it. The other bag I got is the Women’s Crossbody Bag With Lock – A New Day. I fell in love with its pastel yellow color which, to me, is perfect for Spring. Some other things I’m going to wear in Spring are the Bi-stretch Skinny Ankle Pants and the Merane Sneakers. I love how the white sneakers can be worn with just about any color. The Printed Dolphin Short are on major sale right now and they are really fun. Last, but not least, if you don’t get these Pineapple Drop Earrings that are under $3! yes $3, then you’re not going to be on the pineapple trend this summer. Let's go to the beach! My Beach Essentials

My favorite season is summer so obviously I spend a lot of time on the beach! Here is what I bring with me when I go.

Swimsuit – this year I got one from Victoria’s Secret. I believe it’s sold out, but there are still some other similar one piece swimsuits. For example this one!
Straw hat – I got this white and black one from Forever 21 for only $14.90. I love how it matches my white and black swimsuit.
Sun protection – I use Honest sunscreen all over my body, and for my face I use a sample size Tarte that I receive with my Sephora Play subscription.
After Sun – This Aloe After Sun gel is from Ulta!
Hair protection – I like this Klorane Mango Oil I purchased last year. I even made a blog post out of it so read more about this product here.
Beach Bag – I just got this very spacious and colorful bag from Target. They still have this color in stores, unfortunately this is the only color I found on their website.
Flip Flops – the most comfortable shoe type for the beach. Get them at Old Navy! They come in multiple colors.
