Ponchos are a great outerwear alternative. When it gets colder outside, throw them on a long sleeve tee and you’re good to go. They keep you warm yet not overly heated like a sweater or jacket would do. Also, they will look great with a pair of jeans and booties in Fall.
Maxi skirts are great for transitional weather too because while they are still nice and breezy, they keep your legs covered all the way so they do add some warmth to your body. They are great to wear now with a tee, and later with a nice sweater or jean jacket.
Long sleeve shirt dresses are my favorite for transitional weather. I don’t know about you, but my arms are always colder than my legs. Plus, when it’s really cool, you can also wear them with a pair of leggings. I’m going to be living in shirt dresses this Fall for sure.
Open Toe booties are perfect for transitional weather. They don’t make you sweat when it’s still pretty warm outside, but on the other hand they keep you feet warm enough to enjoy the cooler temperatures. Plus, they look great with all those cute Fall outfits.
