Yellow tank top and black and white skirt

I didn’t want to wear just a simple striped black and white skirt today, so I chose this beautiful yellow tank top that is not simple at all. Not only is it a really pretty tone of yellow, but its embroidery is absolutely stunning. Here is a better view of the tank top:

Little crinkled straps of fabric that form something that resembles little flowers. All in all, it looks really lovely and made this seemingly simple tank top to stand out.

These sandals are my go to shoes this summer, as they pretty much go with everything I put on and are very comfortable.

These gold bracelets go beautifully with the yellow tank top. They also accentuate your summer glow and make you look very classy!

Pastel Pink Day and Night Looks

Pastel Pink Day look

Pastel Pink Night look

Pastels are beautiful and always great for a light summer and girly look. I put together two pastel pink looks, one for day and the other for night. Here are the details of each item:

Day look

Duffy Slub linen-blend tank

MSGM Crepe slim-leg pants

Vibrant pastel ballet pumps

MICHAEL Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Saffiano Leather Phone Crossbody

Night look

Antonio Berardi Pastel Pink Cocktail Dress With Layered Details

Paul Andrew Europeaus satin-covered leather pumps

Victoria Beckham Money Clutch Textured-Leather Shoulder Bag

Pastel Pink Flower Necklace

I chose both bags a color that is a tone darker than the whole outfit on purpose so that the outfit wouldn’t look too one dimensional. Also, you can easily wear the necklace with the day look. And, for both outfits, I found a perfect pair of earrings that would suit both. There they are:

High Neck Tunic and a Boho Dress

Topshop

Topshop

This week’s finds are full of prints and colors. This orange High Neck Jersey Tunic can easily double as a dress. This is size small and it looks like a dress on me. I found it at Topshop but it’s also available on Nordstrom‘s website. And it’s a steal. Only $35 and it comes in four different colors. I like how it’s casual but still maintains a more sophisticated  look thanks to its high neck.

This Woodland Print dress is also Topshop, available at Nordstrom as well. As you can tell, it’s full of colors and I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love this print! And the biggest surprise in this dress is this: (scroll down)

Isn’t this a lovely twist? There are not too many dresses that are tied on the sides. It definitely makes this dress stand out. Perfect summer look for boho chics!

Green and White Striped Dress

Green and white striped dress

This green and white striped dress is one of my favorite dresses. It has a beautiful bust line and I like how it flows. I paired it with gold accessories and white sandals. These sandals are actually my favorite sandals this summer, and because of that, you will probably see them being paired with other outfits that I wear. Because they are light in color, they practically go with anything and everything. If you’re interested in light color sandals for summer, you can check out my Tan/Beige Shoes post.

Since I bought this dress last year, it’s already been discontinued from the store. But, I found some similar alternatives if you like this green and white striped look!

Tan/Beige Sandals

Tan/Beige Sandals

I wear a lot of light colors during summer so I’m always on the lookout for tan or beige sandals that pretty much go with any other colors. These are my absolute favorite finds! Some of these are really affordable, and some, well, I will put it on the “maybe one day” wish list. Here is the whole list. Start from top left and go on to the right.

Retro Topshop’s dress and the Lush’s summer look

Floral Retro dress

Retro Floral dress

These are my weekend finds! The first dress is Topshop. It’s a little bit retro, in my opinion, but it also has a flirty and feminine side. The ruffles on top add just a perfect amount of embellishment and I love the print and the color of the dress as well. I paired it with a little purple shoulder bag that I thought complemented this look nicely.

The black dress is Lush. It’s a perfect summer dress as it’s very light and flowy. I like that it has an opening on top and I love the half sleeve, as you can wear it on a cooler summer day.

Both of these dresses can be found on Nordstroms.com, or in the actual store.

Orange and Blue Striped Dress

This dress is one of my favorite dresses for summer. One, because I love stripes, two, because the colors are bright and three, it’s made of a light fabric, so it’s very cool on a hot day. The neckline is very pretty too and the buttons are cute embellishments to this seemingly simple dress. Seemingly, because there is a lot of going on with the stripes running in diverging directors, as well as the other things I mentioned above.

I paired this dress with beige sandals and bag. (Details below)

I have a perfect bracelet to wear with this dress as well. It’s also peach in color and is as chic as the dress itself, in my opinion.

As you can see in these pictures, I’m wearing different sandals. These are actually flat ones, but it shows how versatile this dress can be. You can either wear it with more fancy sandals that would give you a showy, more sophisticated type of look (perfect for a party), or pair it with a casual pair of sandals to go shopping, for example.

My Three Must Have Beauty Products

In this post I would like to showcase three products that I absolutely love and can’t live without. I actually purchased all of the products for a second time because they are that good, in my opinion. Here they are:

night cream, eye cream, eye primer

The Clinique All About Eyes eye cream is the perfect size, even though it might look small to you. Using just the tip of your finger you will have enough to put under and around your eye. It spreads easily and doesn’t really have any scent. I use it twice a day (morning and evening), and despite using it that much, it has lasted for close to 6 months. For $31, it’s really worth it. Plus if you follow Sephora’s weekly specials, you might be lucky enough to score it free with a $25 purchase, like I did with my second jar. Yay!

The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion is an absolute must have make up essential I would feel naked without if I didn’t have it on. I tried it once (actually the other variations of it as well) and it became my must have in an instant. I love all the other Urban Decay’s eye primers as much as this one, but I decided to get the original kind for the second time as it’s nude and will pretty much work with every eyeshadow. And I swear by how great these primers are. I can wear eyeshadow all day long with no creases at the end of the day. And again, it might seem small, but really, how much can you put on an eyelid? Not much! That’s why it’s another product that will last quite a while.

The Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream is one of my most expensive beauty products, as it’s $235 for 1.7 oz. But like the saying goes, good things come in small packages! And this is definitely one of them. This cream lasts a good 6 to 7 months simply because it’s not too heavy. It just takes a small amount (the tip of your finger is a good bet) and it will easily spread all over your face and neck. And, as an added bonus, it smells lovely too! And the results, I don’t have any wrinkles on my face! I can tell from experience with using this product that it does the job really well.

Black and White with a Pop of Red

Black, white and red outfit

This dress is perfect for a hot summer day, as it is very airy, sleeveless and just the right length. It goes with either white or black sandals.

The sandals I am wearing go with most outfits, and I like the fact that they are not completely flat. The silver circle on top adds just the right amount of fanciness.

I was debating if I should accessorize this dress with a red or black wristlet since I like to match. But, I am happy that I chose the red one as it gives this outfit a little bit more color and red looks wonderful with the black and white stripes in the background.
