Let's go to the beach! My Beach Essentials

My favorite season is summer so obviously I spend a lot of time on the beach! Here is what I bring with me when I go.

Swimsuit – this year I got one from Victoria’s Secret. I believe it’s sold out, but there are still some other similar one piece swimsuits. For example this one!
Straw hat – I got this white and black one from Forever 21 for only $14.90. I love how it matches my white and black swimsuit.
Sun protection – I use Honest sunscreen all over my body, and for my face I use a sample size Tarte that I receive with my Sephora Play subscription.
After Sun – This Aloe After Sun gel is from Ulta!
Hair protection – I like this Klorane Mango Oil I purchased last year. I even made a blog post out of it so read more about this product here.
Beach Bag – I just got this very spacious and colorful bag from Target. They still have this color in stores, unfortunately this is the only color I found on their website.
Flip Flops – the most comfortable shoe type for the beach. Get them at Old Navy! They come in multiple colors.

Are you a Play Sephora subscriber? If you aren’t, I wanted to tell you about what a great subscription service it is. Look at all the goodies I just received today. Since I just received them, I haven’t had the opportunity to try them, but I want to focus on the subscription instead. Up until about three months ago, I didn’t know this existed. How many of you knew about it? Maybe some, but I guarantee a lot of you did not as well. But yes, Sephora has its own box subscription service, where for a fee of $10, you receive 6 sample products every month. This is a perfect opportunity to try sample products before you actually buy them. And even though they are sample products, some of them seem like actual sizes (for instance look at this hair spray bottle). I have had the opportunity to try so many great beauty products over the months because of this subscription. I really feel that the price can’t be beat, and what girl doesn’t like receiving new beauty products each month? Try it out yourself!

This dress is nothing but perfection for summer! White, off-the-shoulder, linen, that says it all! I love the length of it and all the details on the top, everything really make this dress stand out. It’s also available in oatmeal and powder blue – the most perfect options of course!

I rarely wear dark colors but this pair of elephant print shorts was too fun not to get. Plus I had this matching top that I knew would go perfectly with it. The shorts and the top are exactly the same color and I love how the lace hem on the shorts goes great with the embroidery finishes of the top.

Obviously, because of the red pop of color on the shorts, I decided to go ahead and add more of that color to the whole outfit and my bag that you all know well by now was a perfect addition here.

It’s not the first time that I buy something and want to wear it right away! I bought this pair of blush shorts just yesterday and voila, I’m wearing them today. I love this color because it’s so light and delicate. You can barely tell the color is actually pink. I paired it with the white and black top, a white bag and beige sandals.

These sandals are so comfortable. I bought them last year and here is another look I posted wearing them. The heel is perfect for someone that does not like big heels, but still would like some kind of elevation. The wide strap around the ankle looks pretty cool and modern if you ask me!

Hi guys! I’m not sure if you know, but I’m on Poshmark. Here are just some items that you can purchase from me, but there is a lot more that is not listed! Most of the things are in great condition, some never worn or still with tags. The reasons I’m trying to sell these are mainly because I don’t fit in them anymore ( I wish I did ), or they are not my style anymore. The items that are never worn or with tags, there is nothing wrong with them either. 4th Of July Outfit

This is my 4th of July outfit this year. I wanted to wear this dress many times before today, but I always knew in the back of my mind to save it for the 4th of July. The white and navy blue stripes scream American flag and I knew that this red bag would add the final touch to this perfect “American” look. And voila, thats how I knew I had the perfect 4th of July outfit!

The accessories were simple and were pretty obvious given the fact that today is all about red, white and blue – a red bracelet and a pair of blue earrings.

This outfit was put together on a whim for a casual outing in town. I’m not the type of person to mix prints, but in this case the colors went together well. Since the top’s print wasn’t too loud, I thought the stripes were definitely the focal point.

And how about this Perry Street
Jolie Necklace? I’m absolutely in love with it as it incorporates one of my favorite color palettes: pastel pink, pastel blue and white. The necklace would stand out a little more with a different top that I have that’s pink in color. But since I put this outfit on first, I decided to go with the necklace as well. Oh, and it would also go perfectly with one of the bracelets I wore in this post. Yep, match made in heaven!
