Teddy Coats – Fall Trend 2018

This Fall fashion trend is easily one of my favorites! Teddy coats have revolutionized the fashion world and are everywhere nowadays. You can get them in all colors and patterns imaginable. The camel color is the most classic option, but brands offer these coats in several other popular colors such as red, white, black, pink and beige. Other than that, I’m sure you can get them in rare colors as well. For bolder looks, you can get them in multicolor patterns or color blocks. I absolutely love these coats because they are so warm and cozy, but also because you can style them whatever way you want to. They will look great for casual outfits as well as more elegant and chic ones. They can look elegant with one look and more cool and laid back with another one. No matter what your style is, you can work with any of those coats around it. Below, you can find some of the coats I really like. Just click on the one you like and it will take you directly to the website so you can shop it on.

The Best Drawstring Utility Jacket For Fall

Maroma – Running Out

I love utility jackets and even though I already own several of them, I added one more to my collection. This brown/camel drawstring utility jacket is of such an amazing color – not only perfect for Fall but also for matching with other outfits. I love the length of this jacket and I have to say it’s pretty warm. The best thing about it though, is its price because it’s under $30! I wouldn’t think twice about this one! If you’re interested in other colors it comes in, check below. Unfortunately, this particular color, for some reason, is not listed on the website, but I linked another utility jacket, almost identical to mine, with the same camel color.

Under my jacket, I’m wearing a nice beige sweater that comes in several colors and is only $9.99! My skirt is orange and I thought why not wear it with the jacket for a nice contrast of colors. They go well together I must admit.

My brown bag is a match made in heaven with this jacket so you know that’s the bag I’m going to wear every time I wear the jacket. Sadly, the bag is from last year and they are sold out, but I listed the store I got it from.

Last, but not least, my polka dot mustard headband is everything, and guess what, it’s only $2! When I go to the mall and see the prices of those headbands, I wish everybody knew how cheap they are in the store I get it from because seriously they are even better quality than the headbands that cost over $20! And with the coupon below, you can get them for under $2.  For that price, it’s worth trying.

Brown has many names: tan, mauve, chocolate. I’m really into mauve a lot lately so I bought this very beautiful and soft mauve tee/sweater I thought would go with many outfits. Here are two day to night options featuring this amazing lightweight sweater that is only $10!

The first look is a day look and it consists of this beautiful mauve color sweater that I paired up with a pair of white jeans and a brown vest. The white jeans make the sweater pop and the darker brown vest creates a nice color block illusion. My brown ankle booties are old, but I found two similar pairs that would also complement this whole look.

The night option consists of the mauve sweater paired up with the oh so trendy nowadays leopard print skirt and brown accessories. I think it looks really nice altogether and it looks elegant, yet simple.

So there you have it – two ways to wear a simple mauve sweater.

Plaid Babydoll Shirt And Hooded Cardigan

Remind Me to Forget – Kygo & Miguel

I’m not that into plaid shirts, but this one is different. It’s longer at the back and it has that cute babydoll silhouette that makes it look fun and flowy. It’s definitely more feminine than your regular plaid shirts.

My long cardigan is from last year, but it’s back in stock.  Yay for that! The beige /tan color is the best color to get because it goes with so much! I also love how long it is because you can easily wear it as a coat. And the hood is a big plus too! The cardigan also comes in a charcoal color if you’re looking for a darker color option. It’s really warm and soft – perfect for Fall days.

My leggings are burgundy and I love how they match the shirt perfectly. I also had a nice tribal print burgundy headband so why not wear it with this outfit.

Hope you enjoy this look!

Red Leopard Skirt And Off The Shoulder Black Sweater

Maroon 5 – Girls Like You

I’m obsessed with leopard print this season and this leopard skirt is a little bit different for me in that it’s not your usual brown leopard print, instead it’s red. The red color looks good with the print, in my opinion, and I love how it adds a pop of color too. The raw hem of the skirt is also a pretty fun detail, as it makes the skirt appear more casual.

To make the skirt stand out, I opted for wearing everything else black. My black off the shoulder sweater is one of my favorite. It’s a loose fit so it’s perfect for casual outfits like this one. I also love its lace detailing around the neckline, which makes it very unique. You could easily wear it with leggings if you wish, because it’s pretty long too. The best part about the sweater, it comes in 14 colors! and it’s so amazing, you will easily want it in every color. Oh and you can’t beat the price either, only $12!

How do you like wearing hats this Fall? I’m kinda obsessing with caps and when I saw this classic leather hat in the store, I had to get it. Unfortunately, it’s sold out, but these are such classic and popular hats, I’m sure you will find them in other places too.

My suede wedge boots are from last year but I found almost identical ones, so check below.

As for the jewelry, I’m wearing gold hoop earrings that I thought suited the whole look best. Only $2 girls!

Color Blocking Is Back – Fall Trend 2018

How do you feel about the color blocking trend? I’m actually loving it, but I don’t think I could pull off some of the looks as they can be pretty bold. I guess it depends what colors are mixed together. I definitely like to see all the Autumn colors together because these are the ones that are usually toned down; for example, beige and brown, or mustard and burgundy. The more funky combinations (neons and bright colors) on the other hand, would be good when you want to add a pop of color to one color outfit. It’s definitely a nice trend to play around with and I love how you can find so many color blocking pieces out there not only featuring interesting color combinations but also different shapes and color blocking patterns. That being said, I’m leaving you with these fun color blocking pieces that I see myself wearing. Which one is your favorite?

Rust/Orange Corduroy Pinafore Dress

Bloom – The Paper Kites

I think this outfit embodies all the characteristics of Fall colors – orange, amber, tan, brown and black. You can call me Miss Autumn if you will haha. Anyways, surprisingly, all the colors go together really well and I like how this outfit turned out.

Let’s start with the dress. This rust/orange pinafore dress is everything I wanted in a pinafore dress. I love that it’s corduroy and its color is absolutely perfect. I also like the silhouette of this dress that accentuates your curves, unlike all the other pinafore dresses that are usually more baggy and loose fitting. This one is definitely nicer in that regard. Last, but not least, it keeps you warm. The fabric is really thick and because of the covered back, it adds an extra layer of clothes on a cool day. I cannot recommend this dress enough.

I paired it up with a nice colorful striped mock neck turtleneck that is only $10! And how well does it go with the dress? There couldn’t be a more perfect match to it, in my opinion. I already heard you like it too so go and grab one for yourself. It also comes in a different set of colors. You can wear it so many different ways, either with jeans or skirts, and you already know it’s amazing to wear under pinafore dresses.

Speaking of accessories, I have to talk about this fabulous black swan keychain for only $3! No joke! Where else would you get a keychain that looks so good for only $3? I love keychains because you can accessorize all your bags with them and they add that extra something to your entire look.

My earrings are old, but their leaf shaped style go great with any Fall outfit. This pair in particular, was a perfect addition to my outfit.
